About this site

In a few words…
This page contains “meta-information” over this web site

Intellectual Property

This site has been published to introduce angiogeology and the research techniques that led to the creation of this branch of hydrogeology.

This site does not contain proprietary information.

If you wish to use part of the contents, we would appreciate that:

  • you mention your source,
  • you favor the use of hyperlinks to the copy of contents.

Language

This site is available in many languages. Only English and French text have been "human written". All other languages have been software translated. Latin languages have been translated from the French version, all other languages have been translated from the English version. If you master either English or French good enough it is better that you consult those sources first. Neologisms introduced by angiogeology (which is itself a neologism) are not translated.

Comments, Opinion, Questions…

Should you wish to make comments, ask questions or raise objections, do not hesitate to e-mail them to ANGIOO information mailbox.

If you wish a more interactive exchange, a Skype videoconference is also possible (appointment via email).

Site Map and Navigation

The site navigation is organized in such a way that all web pages (except this one) are accessible from the navigation menu (on the left hand side pane). A site map is therefore not justified.

If a concept presented is appealing to you, do not hesitate to use the search engine, located under the navigation menu. Chances are that various aspects of this concept are referenced on multiple pages of this site.

Terminology

Like all sciences, angiogeology uses its own terminology. We are conscious that some terms might not be understandable by sheer intuition or are used with a different meaning than the usual one. To clarify this we produced a glossary that the reader is invited to use whenever he has doubts about the semantics of the terms used.

Browsers Compatibility

This site was tested with the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari. Even if we scrupulously respected current international web standards, we noticed slight differences between browsers (especially between Internet Explorer and other browsers, as Internet Explorer started supporting CS 3.0 from version 9.0 on).

Earlier browser versions might not work correctly as we designed our site according to standards and not according to browsers compatibility.

The optimal use of the this web site requires that Javascripts are not deactivated (which is generally the case otherwise web browsing is quite hampered). Navigation is nevertheless possible without Javascripts being active.

Displaying online spreadsheet requires Adobe Flashplayer to be functional.

Safety

This site is accredited website security which guarantees that this site is malware-free.
