Phases of a collaboration
An angiogeological cycle of survey follows a general groundwork whose principal stages are outlined on this page.
ANGIOO is a services company specialized in the location, precise positioning and the space representation of major underground water flows. We follow a personalized approach, specific to the customer, the site and the pursued goal. To Tie a relation and to build a collaboration to evaluate the potential of water bearing sites generally follow a similar groundwork whose broad outlines are outlined below.
Stage 1: Making Of Contact
A prospective customer contacts us. This website is used to us as display unit and should be gone through by any company interested by our services. During this phase of mutual awareness, our prospective customers specify us their waitings; we evaluate them and communicate honestly the extent to which we can answer it. Practically, we approach the following aspects of the survey:
- its objectives, i.e. waitings of our client,
- its geographical constraints, of budget, time, legal, the environmental needs,…
- data geological, hydrological, existing geophysics and geochemical,
- the finance executive of the potential investment.
The experiment shows that it is often the longest phase. To Build a trust relationship and to understand themselves inevitably take time.
Stage 2: Collaboration Agreement
The two parts sign a contract specifying the methods of the survey and the obligations respective during the phase of survey and, if necessary (in the event of finding of a productive layer), during the production run. The duration of this phase of convergence towards a formal agreement is eminently variable: it is all the more short as confidence is established quickly, that the risks for each one of parts appear moderate and that the decision-making process is spring of our direct interlocutors. Our customer pours, on a frozen account, a guarantee intended to guarantee his commitment to carry out prospective drillings. This guarantee is released at the conclusion of exploratory drilling whatever is the result.
Stage 3: Planning of the survey
We plan and organize the survey from a practical point of view. Our partner (since, at this stage, a contract is signed) communicates his last technical analyses to us. The duration of this phase of preparation amounts typically to weeks. We give priority to the customers who have already drilling equipment on site.
Stage 4: Execution of the survey
We carry out the survey. Although it constitutes the core even our activity, it is the fastest phase. Carefully prepared, it has one duration which amounts to weeks. The drilling locations are communicated, at the same time on GPS surveys (which must be signed for reception) and by marking on the ground. An estimate of depth, flow and temperature is also provided by drilling location. Our client is held to carry out one exploratory drilling. Nevertheless, each well actually exploited and produced on the basis of duly delivered specification, causes remuneration. As Of reception of the specifications of drilling, the ball is in the camp of our partners. It is with them to carry out exploratory drillings and, if they are convincing (that of which we do not doubt), of launching the project of exploitation of the site. We return possibly on the spot to specify, if necessary, the optimal positioning of the injection wells. Our commission, calculated on the basis of agreed pricing, is due only as from the moment when the wells which we specified generate an income.
Stage 5: Enclose
As soon as our customer carries out prospective drillings at the places which we indicated, the guarantee is automatically released, whatever the results of analysis of these drillings. The guarantee, versed on a frozen account, is paid to us only if prospective drillings are not carried out in the two years which follow the date of signature of the cooperation agreement. We appreciate the fact particularly that our customers communicate the thermodynamic and chemical analyses to us carried out on the taking away carried out at the end of exploratory drillings.
Our guarantees and our conditions apply to each stage of our intervention.
